Today I celebrate my 40th trip around the sun! I plan to fully embrace my 40's by being more me than ever before and TRY not to worry too much about the consequences! It's time to feel the fear and do it anyway... So although I'm pretty petrified, I thought I'd start off by posting my very first video to the world wide web so that we can enjoy some flowers together!
The video is not the best, but I really wanted to demonstrate just how simple it is to bring a little sunshine into your home in the form of a beautiful wild and whimsy hand tied bouquet. I have deliberately chosen to use only seasonal garden gathered flowers and those that are grown by small local growers as I believe that we already have everything we need growing all around us... And if we don't, lets plant the seed!
You probably know by now that I use herbs and flowers for their medicinal properties, however I also think that there is so much medicine in the simple pleasure of playing with flowers and having them around you in your home. Flowers speak directly to our hearts and for that reason, a bouquet of flowers is the perfect way to lift our spirits and make us feel good.
